DYI 3d showpiece is not a big deal these days. Everyone is looking for a inexpensive yet elegant showpiece for their house. The great thing about these showpieces is that they are simple to make and they don’t require any special skill
Materials Required
- Sun board
- Origami Paper
- Cutter or X-acto knife
- Glue
- Pencil

Step 1
Draw a design in a circle on a paper.
Step 2
Draw it layer by layer on the sun board, now we will draw two circles as the circle will act as a frame.
Step 3
Make as many layers as you want, drawing few elements in each layer.
Step 4
Now cut the sketch on all layers precisely using an X-acto knife.
Step 5
Stack it one by one and decide which layer you want at which place.
Step 6
On each layer draw a support which would help it to stand.
Step 7
Precisely cut it as well on each layer.
Step 8
Paste a color paper on layers you want to be colored.
Step 9
Here we have paste color paper on two layers out of 4.
Step 10
Stack it to see which one would be on top and after it and so on.
Step 11
Now paste it onto each other.
Step 12
Stick the whole piece onto a background, here we have took a sun board and covered it with a yellow paper and cut the extra part.
And your showpiece is ready.
