This is a fun craft project for children to make a paper butterfly using popsicle sticks, pom-pom, pipe cleaner and more. The kids will enjoy making this DIY butterfly made from popsicle sticks and they can use it as a decoration in the room. Butterfly can be made in many different ways but the popsicle stick butterflies are one of the easiest way to make these beautiful butterflies. The popsicle stick butterflies are a great decoration for your kids room.
Materials Required
- Popsicle sticks
- Pompom balls
- Pipe cleaner
- Glue
- Origami Paper
- Pencil or pen
Step 1
Take an A4 size paper and fold it in half.
Step 2
Trace your hand onto the paper from the side it is folded.
Step 3
Cut the hand trace out.
Step 4
Open the Paper and stick the popsicle stick in between the paper.
Step 5
Stick pompom balls on the Popsicle stick like shown in the image.
Step 6
Stick two small googly eyes on the top pompom ball to make the butterfly eyes.
Step 7
Take a pipe cleaner and roll it inward like shown in the image, make two of them to make the antenna of the butterfly
Step 8
Stick the Pipe cleaners behind the first pompom ball like shown in the image.
Step 9
Decorate your butterfly using craft punch cut outs of paper.
And the butterflies are ready to fly
